A scenic 35-minute ride from the Jackson Hole Airport past the National Elk Refuge and Dowtown Jackson leads you to Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole. Situated at the base of the mountain is the Swiss-style Teton Village, Wyoming, the resort is Teton Village’s sole ski in/ski out property. Widely regarded as one of the best ski and snowboard destinations in the world – its slopes provide runs for intermediates and advanced intermediates, along with a ski school with its own gondola for those learning to ski – the resort is open year-round affording guests luxury offerings and access to two National Parks.

Inside the rich mahogany façade, the 158-room resort which includes guestrooms, suites and resort residences, blends into the beautiful mountains as its backdrop. The mountain style resort’s interior features a variety of upscale earth tones paring wood, stone and leather with Native American motifs from its surrounding tribes. With rooms facing the slopes above and on the opposite side the valley below, rooms include a combination of either fire place or balcony with stunning surroundings just out the front door.

In the heart of the American West, the luxurious mountain lodge invites guests on an adventure to explore numerous on-site and off-site activities. At base camp their in-house team features veteran naturalists dedicated to teaching and exploring the great outdoors from fly-fishing, hiking, biking and more with guests. They can also help with organizing whitewater rafting excursions, horseback rides, wildlife safaris and what to see at both the Grand Teton National Park (10 min away) and Yellowstone National Park (one hour away). The friendly concierge will aid in best spots to see the beautiful natural surroundings, opportunity to see local wildlife (like bison, pronghorns, elk, bears and more) and pack a robust picnic basket to take along the way.

This summer they are also inviting guests to take a deeper look at Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks through new geology adventures. In collaboration with Teton Skies, they will be offering: the four-hour long Geology of the Tetons excursion, Wonders of Yellowstone (best for first-time visitors), Hidden Gems of Yellowstone which explores the Park’s off-the-beaten path treasures and astronomy and night sky photography experiences.

Back at the resort, the 11,685-sf spa features 16 treatment rooms and separate men’s and women’s tranquility lounges which provide a quiet place to gather your thoughts. Relaxation experiences range from the Geothermal Mud-And-Aloe Body Treatment, a Native Stone Massage, Pure Radiance Age Defying Facial and the Signature Apres Ski Spa Ritual. Starting with a 25-minute body soak, guests then delight in a massage featuring hot stones to improve circulation and flexibility and then conclude with a willow bark wrap. 

Adjacent to the spa is the fitness facility which includes a multi-purpose studio offering yoga and spin classes in the summer. Just outside, the heated outdoor pool with three whirlpools featuring heated towels and robes, hot chocolate and s’mores in winter and chilled face cloths and spritzes in summer invite guests to bask in the warm (or cold) sun.

Executive chef Michael Goralski invites guests to experience a menu of locally sourced ingredients at Westbank Grill steakhouse whose signature dish, which can be enjoyed indoors in the newly renovated dining room boasting floor to ceiling windows and rustic touches influenced by the heritage of Jackson Hole, or on the patio mountain facing patio, is the Free-Range Buffalo Tenderloin. On the menu both at Westbank Grill and the outdoor pub and beer hall The Handle Bar, by celebrity chef Michael Mina, includes locally sourced greens from Vertical Harvest, Wyoming grass-fed beef, elk, free-range buffalo, Idaho trout, Idaho potatoes and Utah cheeses.

Nestled in a verdant mountain valley, the resort provides a rich dichotomy of luxurious amenities in a western setting allowing each guest to create their own experience and make most of its surroundings.
